RBS Six Nations Rugby in Dublin 2014

RBS 6 Nations Irelance

This February, the Aviva Stadium in Dublin is host to Scotland and Wales as their teams play Ireland in the RBS 6 Nations Rugby Cup.  The annual  rugby union championship is contested by Ireland, England, France, Wales, Scotland and Italy. See the top players battle it out in Europe’s premier international rugby tournament. Starting of with Sctoland on the 2nd, the IRFU will play two home games finishing with Wales on the 8th.

Aviva Stadium is Ireland’s only UEFA Category 4/Elite Stadium and has won a number of awards including RIAI & RIBA. Since opening in May 2010 over 1.8 million ticketed visitors have passed through the turnstiles for rugby, soccer & concerts.

The games are big news in Ireland and often sell out quickly. Lucky ones will get to watch the action from up close. But don’t despair! All the best pubs in Ireland will be showing the games and cheering on their home side. Sometimes the pub is the better place to watch. Cheap(er) beers, no queues, and a cosy, roaring crowd of Dubliners.
