From Dublin airport

By car
Coming from the Airport on the M1 and onto Drumcondra Rd. Continue onto Dorset Street. At the pub called "The Big Tree", turn left onto North Circular Rd. Continue onto Portland Row turning right at the Traffic Lights onto Amiens Street. Pass by Connolly Railway Station and take the next right turn onto Talbot Street. Take the first turn to the left into Talbot Place. Jacobs Inn is at the end of this street.

By Bus 

Jacobs Inn is located within 1 minute of Busaras, which has a direct bus service to and from the airport. Tickets can be purchased on the bus itself and between €6-€8.

From Dublin ferry port

By Bus
If you are arriving in Ireland through Irish Ferries at Dublin port you can take the number 53 bus and get off at Busàras station. (Ask the driver to let you know which stop to get off at). The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus turn left into Talbot Place and you will see Jacobs Inn at the end of the street. There are  Jacobs Inn flags on the outside of the building. Dublin Port is served by Irish Ferries.  

By car
Leaving the port at the main exit turn left. Continue to the roundabout at the O2 / Point Depot. Take the second exit onto North Wall Quay with the River Liffey on your left. Continue straight, past the Samuel Beckett Bridge and the Sean O’Casey Bridge until you get to the Talbot Memorial Bridge. Turn left to cross this bridge (R105) and turn right (river now on your right). At the next bridge, Butt Bridge turn right again. Over Butt Bridge stay in 3rd lane and follow the road  keeping the Customs House on your right. Keep to the left at the bus station and turn up Amiens Street (R105), and take the 2nd turn into Talbot Street. Take the first turn to the left into Talbot Place and Jacobs Inn is at the end of this street on the right hand side.

By train
Take the Dart train towards the city centre and get off at Connolly station. When you exit the station you will see Talbot Street ahead of you. From Talbot Street take the first turn to the left into Talbot Place. Jacobs Inn is at the end of this street. Approx 2 minute walk.


By car
Leaving the port, exit at the T junction, Take a right and follow the signs to the city centre that brings you onto Pearse Street. Keep in right lane and take a right onto Tara Street. Continue straight through and over Butt Bridge. Cross this bridge and turn right (river now on your right). At the next bridge, Butt Bridge turn right again. Over Butt Bridge stay in 3rd lane and follow the road  keeping the Customs House on your right. Keep to the left at the bus station and turn up Amiens Street (R105), and take the 2nd turn into Talbot Street. Take the first turn to the left into Talbot Place and Jacobs Inn is at the end of this street on the right hand side.
