    Isaacs Hostel Reviews

We walked into Isaac's, it was hopping with activity! Students were interacting and music was playing. It had a very electric atmosphere that anyone 25 and under would adore. The young at heart wouldn\'t feel too out of place either!!

Nice hostel right in the center of the city and less than a block from the main bus terminal. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice basic breakfast. Would stay again.

Great hostel. A bit noisy, but that's to be expected.

People and staff were all really friendly. Free brekkie was good! Only bad thing is that the floors creaked really loudly so was impossible not to wake everyone up if you got in late. Overall though I would definitely stay again!

I was very drunk when coming back to the Hostel on Saturday night. Some local ruffian was giving me grief and tried to come into the hostel. If the situation hadn't been diffused I would have had to fight him . Gladly a member of staff was on hand to kick the said ruffian out. Avoided a nasty situation and was much appreciated.

Positive, is very good located and gives you the possibility to party or to rest whichever you choose. Negative, my room was beside the railway so it was quite noisy and I had the chance to share room with a really creepy old man, I guess this last one was not their fault... Finally the sauna was great but did not have cold water for afterwards.

Great location, staff and breakfast. My only suggestion is that the bathrooms were not serviced as well as they should be - the binds in the ladies toilets were overflowing.

Isaac's was far and away the best hostel I have ever stayed in: the facilities are clean and in good repair, the social areas have a lot of character (and they actually have things to do there). But the biggest upside to Isaac's was the staff. Everytime we asked a question of a staff member, we got a friendly, knowledgeable answer. The breakfast is nothing special, but it's better than others we've had: I just wish there were more cereal options than just Cornflakes. It was nice to have OJ thoug

Isaacs Hostel was the best place I stayed in Dublin out of 3 comparable hostels, it was also the cheapest. The staff were excellent, and room was clean and quiet, also the location couldn't be better. The basement is like little hangers which is very classic and a great place to relax.

Some of the staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, while others stared at me blankly when I asked a question and didn't seem too clued in on what was going on.

The room was clean and comfortable, but not recommended for the noise-conscious because the hostel is right beside the railway. Shower facilities should be repaired, 2 out of 3 showers on my floor could not be locked securely.

I stayed here two years ago and was very happy to see that it was just as great as I remembered it! The staff were wonderful as usual. Thanks to Kevin for helping us print stuff and the nice lad working the night shift the day we left. Great location for train and bus station and doing anything in dublin.
