    1. Is the hostel in the city centre?

Yes, the hostel is situated right in the city centre, adjacent to the only Bus station (Busaras) and minutes from Connolly and Tara Street train stations. O'Connell Street and Temple Bar are a 5 minute walk and one of the main shopping streets Henry Street is also a short walk away.

    2. Is breakfast included in the price?

Light continental breakfast is included in the price and is served between 7.30 and 9.30 am daily.

Full Irish Breakfast can be purchased at the hostel restaurant where the prices are very competitive and the food is good.

Alternatively, guests can avail of our self-catering kitchen which is open daily.

    3. Is linen included?

Yes, all bed linen is included. Guests are advised to bring their own towels.

    4. What safekeeping facilities are provided?

Small safes (large enough for cameras, documents, wallets etc) are provided and a small daily charge of €2 is made for their hire. We recommend that all guests avail of this facility as the hostel cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen.

    5. Are left-luggage facilities provided?

Yes, there are lockers provided in a secure luggage room. A small daily charge of €2 is required for their hire.

    6. What are the check in and check out times?

Guest can check in at any time after 14.00h and they must check out before 11.00h. There is no lock out during the day so guests can come and go as they please.

    7. Does the hostel have a curfew?

No, there is no curfew at any of our hostels. Reception is open 24 hours a day.

    8. Are multi-bed rooms single sex only?

No, we have male, female and mixed sex rooms in our hostels.

    9. Are any bedrooms ensuite?

No at Isaacs Hostel we don't have any ensuite bedrooms. Shower and toilets are found on each floor. If you require an ensuite bedroom, please book our sister hostel, Jacobs Inn.

    10. What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) and travellers cheques only. When making a reservation either a deposit or credit card number is required to guarantee the reservation.

    11. What is your cancellation policy?

For individual reservations the cancellation policy is 24 hours. For groups, we require the first nights accommodation prepaid as deposit. This is non-refundable. Any group cancellations must be made in writing 14 days before the arrival date of the group.

    12. Do I have to be a member?

There is no membership fee involved. We are independent hostels and members of the Independent Holiday Hostels of Ireland Association. To stay at our hostels all you need is some form of photo identification and enough money to pay for your bed for the night.

    13. Can Groups avail of Special Promotional Rates?

Please note that € 10.00 beds are special promotional rates and are only available on certain nights in our hostels and are also just limited to beds in different types of rooms and at limited supply per day.    The special rate is also only applicable for on line sales.  These reduced rate beds do not extend to group bookings as the special offer beds are only available in different beds in different rooms types – so for a group looking to book – they would not be together – they would be separated throughout the hostel.    If you want to take a chance on line and try for cheaper prices for some beds you may have to split your booking into different rooms. We advise groups to contact us directly in order to get the best option available to them.
